Celebrate Independence Day in Pickens & Greenville Counties
Summer heat is on us in Pickens South Carolina, and Independence Day is just around the corner. In an active area like this, there are plenty of celebrations for the whole family. Whether you’re in Seneca, Pickens, Greenville, or any of the surrounding areas in Upstate South Carolina, there’s something for everyone. Come out and join the community for fireworks shows and more.
Clemson is holding their 25th annual ClemsonFest on July 3rd from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will feature a concert by the Carolina Coast Band until 9:30pm, when the fireworks start. Food vendors will offer a variety of different things to enjoy, and at 5:50pm, Boy Scouts Troop 161 will perform the flag raising ceremony.
The Celebrate America Festival is happening in Easley at the Old Market Square on July 3rd and July 4th from 2:00pm to 10:00pm. The event will feature food vendors, concerts on both nights, and fireworks on the 4th. Admission is free for the evening festivities.
The city of Pickens will have a musical performance by the Jake Bartley band on Main Street from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on July 4th with a fireworks show taking place at 10:00pm after the concert finishes up.
If you’re in Downtown Greenville, you’ve got your choice of events to attend, including but not limited to the Kroc Center Freedom Fun Fest from 4:00pm to 10:00pm where the little ones can enjoy a bounce house, and the adults can listen to music or fill up on concessions. The center will have a great view of the Greenville fireworks show.
Greenville is also hosting the Wells Fargo Red, White, and Blue Festival from 5:00pm to 10:30pm on the 4th of July. Four different bands will be playing live music, food vendors will host several different options and the kids can have fun at the Kids Zone. The fireworks show will start at 9:45pm.
